Armor Inkanto resin thermal transfer ribbons

Resin ribbons are made for synthetic labels in PP, PE and PET, and for labels that must survive chemicals, solvents, high temperatures, humidity or heavy abrasion. Choose resin for chemical drum and container labels, outdoor labels, and parts labels that have to stay readable through handling and cleaning.

We stock three Armor Inkanto resin grades, AXR1, AXR8 and AXR800, in widths from 60mm to 110mm. Every ribbon is available ink side out (CSO) or ink side in (CSI).

Resin ribbons are designed for synthetic labels; for paper labels, choose wax ribbons or wax-resin ribbons.

FAQs

Which labels need a resin ribbon? Synthetic labels (PP, PE, PET), and any label exposed to chemicals, solvents, heat, humidity or heavy abrasion.

Can I use a resin ribbon on paper labels? Resin is made for synthetic materials. For paper labels, wax or wax-resin is the better match.

What is the difference between AXR1, AXR8 and AXR800? All three are Armor Inkanto resin grades. Tell us your label material, your printer and where the label will be used, and we will recommend the right one.

Do I need ink side in (CSI) or ink side out (CSO)? It depends on your printer. Each printer is built for one winding. If you are not sure, email us your printer model.

How quickly do you deliver? Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of payment and arrive on UK mainland within 3–5 working days after dispatch. Free standard delivery to UK mainland on orders over £200.
